INA ENE INAN ENE ..

THE FEMININE IN ME SALUTES THE FEMININE IN YOU

Urmya, fleeing from patriarchy, enters a remote realm of the Feminine where she meets a variety of different cwena characters, some helpful and others not so much. Despair of her future changes when she is sent on a mission back to the masculine world she left behind to seek someone she once knew — and never thought to see again.

“What do women want?” asks Freud. Qwenaterra explores what exactly is woman, what does it mean to identify as female, and what is the Feminine if we try to live it as something more real and substantial than that which is not masculine.

Qwenaterra, Realm of Queens

FEMINIST FICTION FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

The excitement and adventure of Wonder Woman, the exposed threats and danger of Unsane … faced and overcome with the courage, magic, and verve of Princess Mononoke.

THE WORLD

QWENATERRA has been carved out of a remote wilderness by pioneering women aspiring to make a land — or realm — of the Feminine.

No one uses words to define the Feminine, but each seeks to feel and live and express it through community, rituals and ceremonies, healing instead of health care, learning instead of education, and the Femsorium … absolutely not a brothel.

The realm is situated far away in the southern hemisphere, beyond an impenetrable enclosing ring of high mountains, in the valley of the river Ubomi. Most cwenas live in hamlets and villages, but others have settled in remote mountain valleys and caves to find and grow the Feminine.

Reasons why cwenas fled the masculine world ‘Out There’ are, wrenchingly clear in their sagas – each cwena bears witness and records her story (or stories) in the Saga Sanctuary.

The valley villages are hemmed in by hillside fields and dense forest and woodland, offering numerous chances for getting lost, meeting spirits, being rescued by wise women, mythical monsters, and even the Sibyl – prophet of the Feminine long-ago destroyed by men at war.

Above the valley in secluded mountain caves is the home of Kali, Goddess of the Divine Feminine, where strange things happen …
